Our board period has been incredibly active, and we are proud to present the highlights:

Over the past year, DION hosted and co-hosted a total of 49 events across all three NTNU campuses. We also assisted in 28 inquiries and 31 requests regarding event proposals for temporary scientific employees at NTNU. Moreover, we were able to fund 11 grants and gave 13 presentations across several faculties to make DION more visible and accessible to temporary scientific employees.

Startup Preschool in Gjøvik

Norwegian Language course by NTNU at Ålesund and Gjøvik campuses

We at DION have prepared a short questionnaire about your experience of the Norwegian language course run – remotely – by NTNU at Ålesund and Gjøvik campuses. We are trying to find a way to help the university to run this course at its best for these two campuses. If you are attending or have attended the NTNU Norwegian language course, we truly appreciate your feedback about your experience by filling out this questionnaire by March 20th. DION annual general meeting (AGM) and election of the new board – Gjøvik campus

It’s about the time for this year’s AGM. A new board will be elected during the AGM on April 18, 2023. The new board will consist of 5 to 8 members, who will serve for 8 months until December 31, 2023.

We encourage all PhD candidates, postdocs and temporary scientific employees from campus Gjøvik to consider joining the board. It is also possible to step forward as a candidate during the AGM. This is a great opportunity to influence the work situation of temporary academic staff and get insights into how the university works.

We gather in Kobalt K109 to listen to the candidates introducing themselves, and have some pizza and soft drinks afterwards. We would be grateful if you could let us know if you could join the meeting (as a candidate or not!) by filling out this form:
