Public consultation (høring) – New regulations on recruitment positions  

Dear DION Members,  

DION was invited to respond to the consultation process about new NTNU regulations for teaching and research positions and recruitment positions planned to take effect as of January 2025. Public consultations are an essential part of the legislative and regulatory process. This allows stakeholders across the organization, including temporary academic staff like us, to provide feedback on and influence the guidelines and regulations that affect us.

Startup Preschools (Trondheim, Ålesund, Gjøvik)

Startup Preschools are coming to Trondheim (6-8 September), Ålesund (13-15 September) and Gjøvik (4-6 October). They will be arranged for internationals who want to start a business. Join a 3-day free crash course in entrepreneurship! Startup Preschools are organised together with DION and are co-financed by NTNU for you!

DION Grant Application – Fall 2024

All PhD candidates, postdocs, and other temporary scientific employees at any NTNU campus are eligible to apply for a grant (up to 2000 NOK) to cover expenses related to organizing activities that create opportunities for PhD students and postdocs to network, learn, and enrich their experience. Please note that master’s degree students are NOT eligible. If there are applicants from Trondheim, Gjøvik, and Ålesund, DION will prioritize granting one to each of the three cities. The total fund pool for this grant call is 10,000 NOK.
